Two of us..

Had this picture taken at Changi City Point while waiting for papa to redeem some free gifts at the guest services counter.
One of the most classic shot of them together.
And iPhone Lomo rocks!

As Aunty Hui Lian quote: Kaye yau seng kak! (got attitude with that pose!)

This was taken sometime last month.
Joshua had bouts of fever that just wouldn't go away. Poor boy was cooped up at home for several days and I brought him down to have a breath of fresh air.
Well, not so fresh after all judging from the background of the photo! LoL!!!!
I edited the photo to give it a bit of 1960's feel.
Picasa 3 comes with a lot of new functions and they're really convenient to choose,
totally idiot proof for someone like me!
Joshua's hairstyle and his fever patch for some reason blends well with the 1960's look :P

Granma Sue's birthday 11th April 2012

Introducing Sue and Pete whom the kids called Granma and Granpa.
They're actually my godparents, during my baptism 8 years ago.
My closest and dearest family member in Singapore. Mom's best bud as well lately ;)

We had a dinner gathering at Seng Kee's Black Herbal Chicken Soup Restaurant (famously known for the kidney mee sua).
Manage to take some lovely shots of everyone and along the way,
little introduction of this and that person.. :)

Sent this for Playhouse Disney Birthday book this year..
hopefully it'll be featured next month.
Josh missed his this year :(

One of the rare nice photo of the kids taken with either one of us..

Me and my not so curly ratsy (anymore :(( )

Granma and her darling grandkids....

The kids' godparents, Terence and Jocelyn

Granma Sue's the other god daughter Chris,
technically my god sister as well!
Which makes Paris and the kids god cousins?!?!
(whisper.. but Josh adores Paris!!!... is that wrong??? :P )

 Me and granma Rose :P

HaPpY 2nd BirThDay CiLi PaDi!! ... or is it 3??

This is way way way overdue...
But I actually created the collages last year itself, I think. Just never had the chance to post it.
So here it is...
I made a point to order the pretty fondant cake several months before Kaye's birthday and didn't pay for any deposit this time. But the lady baker was friend's close friend so my order was safely delivered and paid upon delivery.
(FYI: Kaye's first birthday cake was supposed to be a 3D fondant cake as well but the baker went MIA and got away with my full payment of $160.00 unfortunately. A reputable and known baker thru forums but it was really unfortunate on Kaye's birthday that she went missing)

So back to Kaye's 2nd birthday story...
Cake turned out really lovely, and was yummylicious too.. red velvet soft sponge cake.
The mention of it makes me drool big time already.
The design could have been better but the baker was given the liberty to come up with a design based on some cake designs I emailed her.
Nonetheless, Kaye was thrilled and so was her mommy ;)
2 tier, one was red velvet and the other chocolate chips I think.

CiLi PaDi and her presents..
Typical girl's present... doll and stroller...
and balloons for my both my prized todds :)
What's a birthday celebration...
Kid's birthday celebration I rephrase,
without a balloon, eh? ;)

Don't think I'll be ordering any fondant cake for her this year, nor Josh' birthday in June.
It's September anyways, one month before her birthday.
The popular bakers would likely be fully booked by now.
Till I post Josh's 4th birthday pictures... :)))
