Happy 2011!!

We had the pleasure of dining over at Vivien's place on new year's eve, cum watching the live fireworks from her balcony.
Every year, there will be live performances hosted by Singapore's Mediacorp for new year's count down followed by live fireworks display at the end of the show.

For dinner, I manage to whip up something fancy but simple, all thanks www.allrecipes.com ;)
It's only natural for all of us, when we just bought something new, in my case an oven,
we're all motivated and eager to use it!
So whilst my "hangat hangat tahi ayam" still running, I might as well take the opportunity to satisfy my interest in using the oven!

Breadcrumbed lambrack
Fried angel hair pasta ala garlic, red chillies and coriander leaves

Salad courtesy of Vivien and roasted potato with a lil herb and lemon slices
(that's ratsy's hand, caught in action-redhanded!! :P)
Cili padi sucking the juice out of strawberry, and when there's no more juice, she'll take another bite on the fruit and starts to suck again.
Mom says she can feel the pressure of Kaye sucking and then bite and then sucks again :P
Chocolate fondant, my 4th try and I finally nailed it!!
Cheers to the new year! Hurrah!!

I remember watching the fireworks on a new year's eve many years back,
Probably my 2nd year in Singapore, on a field where I'm guessing the Marina Bay Sands Resort is built upon.
It was indeed a pleasurable experience, considering an added verbal expressions by Josh, his ooo ahhs and wahhhhsss.... not to forget, let's go let's go let's go!
But I admit we adults were as equally excited, if not more!!

Finale

Lovely dinner, I could see the 2men indeed enjoyed themselves licking up the bones... mom contented with her Chianti and both me and Viv thrilled with the whole dinner get together and watching the fireworks live. Again, cheers to another wonderful year, filled with many more celebrations and God's abundant blessings!!
