Re-living the nostalgia...

Not too sure how to term this... so the title for this post may not be appropriately named. 

But it indeed reminds me of what my parents did with us, brought us to the airport to watch planes land and take off, car ride to Penang bridge,

beaches and picnics with nasi lemak and fried beehoon.. and I remember us driving up to Ayer Itam Dam and there's a playground there.

Staying in Pasir Ris has it's benefits too. Besides the Pasir Ris park and beach, we're close to Changi Village as well.

And so one of the time that I took the kids there to watch the planes land, I got these lucky shots which is priceless, to me at least...

Did a lil editing to bring out the nostalgic effect and there you have it.. I love the composition of the kids on top of the car and the plane in the background... with the big blue sky...plus Josh & Kaye's classic hairstyle... as if it's really in the 80's :P
Well of course them sitting still didn't last long so thank goodness really that I manage to get these shots. 

These were taken during last year's CNY.
It took us a year before we could finally collect it. Long story to it but some boo-boo pertaining lost of our picture folder and then we had to re-arrange for another shoot and then photographer left the studio and so was our 2nd shoot photos. So after few attempts of calling the studio finally someone helped to search for the lost files retrieve them and then edited the pictures and gave us extra shots (more than supposedly we paid for) to make up for the one year delay of collection.

We did have fun actually but definitely wasn't easy trying to get the kids to cooperate...
Wished there were more decent shots but this is as good as we can bargained for! :P
