Joshua's Big One!! ( Part I )

Josh's birthday was an eventful one indeed.
Chong took halfday leave from work to spend time with him, and I managed to borrow a lens from the workshop while my original lens is being repaired and we were all set to celebrate our lil bubba's big day!

Started off the day with some traditions mom insisted on...

~ The red egg ~

Red colour as we all know... signifies prosperity. Put them on both sides of the shoe.... our life journey... smooth like egg surface. So Josh had to take both eggs off the shoe... and crack them by knocking both eggs together.

~ The Shoe ~

Wear a pair of new shoe.... courtesy of Aunt Jaime!!! and walk around the house... ang pao from his beloved god grandparents! aka my godparents... teehehehehe

~ The Chix Drumstick ~

Holding chicken drumsticks on both sides of hands.... and have a bite on each of them, signifies there'll be food wherever he goes... or that his basic necessities in life will be looked after.

And finally the egg eating part... turned out he loved hard-boiled egg... it's funny how the sequence of photos of him eating egg turned out, one bite.. and have to wash off with water before taking the next bite... like some gourmet tasting session :P
